Michael G. Impero was born in Bellingham and has lived his whole life in Whatcom County—God’s Country. After retiring from 37 years in the construction industry, the author finally had the time to devote to one of his hobbies, the history of the upper Nooksack River Valley. With four years of research, the 110-year history is complete to date. The Lone Jack is his first book.
